A NIGHT OF FASHION AT THE ART GALLERY OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Last Saturday night I was fortunate to attend Attitude Magazine's,

A Night of Fashion at the Art Gallery of South Australia.

This year's event showcased the best of Adelaide's emerging designers and premium Australian designers in an evening that brought together Adelaide's fashion and art communities.  This year's nine designers included Akira, Carla Zampatti, Toni Maticevski, Willow, Scanlan & Theodore, Collette Dinnigan, Alice McCall, Bianca Spender and Suzi O'Rourke.

The historic Elder Wing of the Art Gallery of South Australia made a stunning runway to showcase the beautiful designs.  A Night of Fashion at the Art Gallery was an inspirational, energetic event showcasing the best in local food, beverages, entertainment and fashion.

Josh Goot - Exclusive Fashion Lunch!

Last Friday I had the privilege of attending an exclusive lunch with fashion designer Josh Goot, hosted by Muse Boutique and thestyleset.com. We were presented with an ice cold glass of Moet Ice Imperial on arrival that complimented a beautiful 3 course menu presented by Scool Eatery and Bar at the Oaks Plaza Pier Hotel.

Models from Pride Modelling Agency showcased a stunning selection of Josh Goot pieces from the current season as well as an exclusive preview of selected SS13 garments.

The pieces shown displayed Goot's use of beautiful luxury fabrics paired with digital graphic prints.   Goot and his Sydney based team created unique digital prints by fusing animal prints, such as leopard, cheetah and python, with baroque inspired prints.

Sunday afternoon I visited Mount Lofty House in the Adelaide Hills to see style icon,

Paul Vasileff of Paolo Sebastian showcase a beautiful collection of handmade designs.  

His designs are reminiscent of early 1950's fashion and are inspired by fashion icons

such as Audrey Hepburn and Marie Antoinette.

The stunning unique handmade garments created a contemporary elegance

featuring beautiful lace and bead embellishments. 

The collection oozed a truly romantic elegance which was a pleasure to see up close.
