The Westfield Marion Fashion Festival

Last weekend Westfield Marion held its Fashion Festival with over twenty fashion events across 4 days.  I was lucky to attend several style workshops and fashion parades on both Friday and Saturday.  The images above captured some of the key Spring/Summer trends showcased during the festival.

Adelaide Fashion Festival

Now that we are well into October I am getting very excited about the Adelaide Fashion Festival which is on from the 19-27 of October 2012.  This year is set to be bigger and better than ever with supermodel Melissa Johannsen being announced as the face of the 2012 Adelaide Fashion Festival.  With parades throughout the city at Rundle Mall, King William Road and Norwood Parade plus the annual Finesse Lingerie Show, there is plenty to see.  This year we also see events such as The Gentlemen's Lounge and Style Workshops with Arthur Galan being included in the festival.  With all of these opportunites to be involved in fashion, I can't wait!

Last Saturday night I was lucky enough to attend 'A Night Of Fashion' at the Art Gallery of South Australia presented by Attitude Fashion Magazine.  Held in the majestic Elder Wing of the Art Gallery the parade showcased fashions from national designers Carla Zampatti, Bianca Spender, Willow, Scanlan & Theodore, along with local Adelaide designers Jamie Sortino, Couture + Love + Madness and Paolo Sebastian.  International designers were also displayed by The New Guard and international vintage pieces by Claire Inc.
